I was very leery to purchase but I thought I have nothing to loose because if it doesn't work I can return it. After the dentist canceled my cleaning appointment in December due to illness I had to figure something out as I had some spots that were bothering me badly. This product is very easy to use. Let it charge fully before using. The usb plug in is located on the bottom of the unit. There is a cap you have to remove in order to plug it in. Once you turn it on it only makes a small sound when touched to your teeth. Cleaned up some bad spots I had just as good as the dentist office would have done. Well worth the money!

I was a little hesitant about this, especially because I'm not a dentist or hygienist. This baby removed plaque and tartar buildup. It really just "melts away"! I don't know how they did it, but: it is not painful. If the stainless steel tool touches the gums, it stops. It's so quite that you don't know it's on. When it does touch the plaque or tooth, the device does make a vibrating sound, but it does not hurt. This thing is AWESOME!!!
